{"id":155008,"date":"2014-07-07T00:00:22","date_gmt":"2014-07-07T00:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2014\/07\/07\/ghs-chuchuyimlang-renamed-as-lghs\/"},"modified":"2014-07-07T00:00:22","modified_gmt":"2014-07-07T00:00:22","slug":"ghs-chuchuyimlang-renamed-as-lghs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2014\/07\/07\/ghs-chuchuyimlang-renamed-as-lghs\/","title":{"rendered":"GHS Chuchuyimlang renamed as LGHS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/SARDLJZHFCZOEAFRAHZI.jpg>Government High School Chuchuyimlang on July 5 has been rechristened as Langpangkong Government High School Chuchuyimlang by Nuklutoshi, Minister for Conservation of Soil &amp; Water, National Highways &amp; Mechanical Engineering, during a function held in the school premises as the chief guest.<br \/>\nWhile delivering his speech as the chief guest, Nuklutoshi has described as \u2018historic day\u2019 for the Range and the State as well to pay tribute to the visionary leaders of Langpangkong Tsukong Mungdang and well wishers that set the precedent for the establishment of the school in 1945. At the same time, Nuklutoshi has lauded the joint efforts put in by the community along with the teaching staff to see that Government schools perform at par with private schools. He said: \u2018Schools without students, is a drain to government coffers\u2019.<br \/>\nAs for the problem of unemployment in the state, the Minister said, \u2018there are more than sixty thousand registered educated un-employed youth in the state and increasing each year\u2019. He said it was not possible for government to accommodate all in government establishment. One possibility, he said, was for industries to develop in state, ushering job opportunities. He however said this could happen only when the Naga political issue is solved.<br \/>\nAlso speaking on the occasion, an alumni of the school and present Parliamentary Secretary for DAN &amp; Nagaland Hotels Ltd., S Chuba Longkumer, was optimistic that the rechristening of the school would truly widen the horizon for school with backing from the Langpangkong Tzukong Mungdang. Reacting to certain press statements pertaining to the recent political upheaval, S Chuba said civil societies should not meddle in party politics. He said political parties and civil societies run in parallel lines and that one should be very careful not to cross their parameters while voicing their opinions.<br \/>\nAmenba Yaden, MLA &amp; Chairman, NBDA &amp; NPCB, urged the present staff and students of the school to re-dedicate themselves to bring laurels to the institution.<br \/>\nIn his introductory speech, T Nukshi Yaden, President of Langpangkong Tzukong Mungdang (LTM) stated that the school was established by the LTM in 1945, as private school, in accordance with the resolution made in the LTM conference of 1944. It was in 1960, with the visit of P Shilu, the school was recognized as Government High School Chuchuyimlang.<br \/>\nShort speeches were also delivered by R Alemla Jamir, DEO Mokokchung, Thijakhrienuo Nisa, EAC Chuchuyimlang Circle and Aosanen, Chairman, Chuchuyimlang Village Council.
