{"id":155311,"date":"2014-06-30T00:48:09","date_gmt":"2014-06-30T00:48:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2014\/06\/30\/mtlt-demands-public-apology-from-nuklotoshi\/"},"modified":"2014-06-30T00:48:09","modified_gmt":"2014-06-30T00:48:09","slug":"mtlt-demands-public-apology-from-nuklotoshi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2014\/06\/30\/mtlt-demands-public-apology-from-nuklotoshi\/","title":{"rendered":"MTLT demands public apology from Nuklotoshi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem(MTLT) through its president Imkummeren Jamir and general secretary Yanger Namo, has demanded an \u201cunconditional apology to the Ao community\u201d from Nuklutoshi minister of mechanical &amp; highways and soil conservation for his \u201cuncivilized action\u201d on June 27 inside NPF office Mokokchung.<br \/>\nWhile asserting it was constrained to issue the letter in the interest of the community, MTLT in its open letter addressed to Nuklutoshi accused him of brandishing a pistol and challenging public for \u201c a single fight inside the NPF office Mokokchung\u201d.<br \/>\nMTLT further warned that in the event of failure to comply with the demand, it would be constrained to initiate any action deemed fit and for which it should not be held responsible, <br \/>\nIn another letter addressed to the DC Mokokchung, MTLT also strongly condemned incidents in Mokokchung town, such as the June 23 twin blasts inside NPF office and June 27 when Section 144 Cr.PC was promulgated in town due to the \u201cunwarranted situation\u201d created by NPF workers resulting in fear psychosis among public of Mokokchung.<br \/>\nIt also questioned how a political party comprising of all prominent and responsible leaders could act and behave in the manner they did to disturb the liberty of public and damaging government vehicles.?<br \/>\nMTLT said it was convinced beyond doubt that the incidents had an element of individualistic interest rather than a common agenda for society and that whatsoever be the reason, condemned the actions on the fate days that resulted in taking the entire town and thousands of public to ransom. <br \/>\n&nbsp;It also termed the action of Nuklutoshi, on June 27 inside the NPF office as \u201cuncivilized\u201d and also deemed it as \u201c an insult to the Ao community\u201d for which, it has demanded \u201c an unconditional public apology\u201d from the minister.<br \/>\nFurther, MTLT pointed out, that the June 27 incidents suggest that any meeting of NPF in future would also have the same result where public peace and harmony is disturbed and in this regard, urged the district administration not to allow any activities of the NPF within Mokokchung town till the people of the town are convinced that NPF activities would pose no threat to the peace and harmony of the general public. <br \/>\nIn addition, MTLT also said activities of any organisation whether political or otherwise, deemed detrimental to peaceful coexistence of society will not be allowed in the larger interest of the public. <br \/>\nMTLT also urged upon all peace loving citizens to condemn the June 27 incident and stand united against such detrimental force and work selflessly to usher peace, unit, tranquillity and harmony in society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem(MTLT) through its president Imkummeren Jamir and general secretary Yanger Namo, has demanded an \u201cunconditional apology to the Ao community\u201d from Nuklutoshi minister of mechanical &amp; highways and soil conservation for his \u201cuncivilized action\u201d on June 27 inside NPF office Mokokchung.
