\nThe signatories while condemning the \u201cself-styled leaders\u201d asked them not to \u201ctarnish the good image of the executive members\u201d of the 17th land affected villages who are officially nominated by the respective village councils.
\nThey also asserted that the \u201cself interested\u201d persons declaring themselves as the new team of the union was \u201cunconstitutional and infringement\u201d of the land owners rights and the union constitution.
\nThe signatories also reminded that the constitution of the LOU, DHEP NEEPO Ltd Doyang Wokha, Nagaland was amended by the committee appointed by the president of the union on April 26, 2013.
\nThey said that the committee tabled the amended constitution on May 8, 2014 and the same was approved by the house representing all the land affected villages. Simultaneously, the election of the new president was held and 31 executive members of the 48 members representing 17 land affected villages of DHEP elected Y Wopan Lotha as the president of the union.
\nThe signatories also claimed that the \u201cself-styled and unauthorized leaders\u201d has \u201csidelined and ignored\u201d the order of the DC Wokha and NSCN\/GPRN order respectively. They claimed that both the DC and NSCN\/GPRN has \u201cendorsed\u201d Y Wopan Lotha as the new president of the union after \u201cthorough examination of the constitution, names and signatures of the executive members of the 17 land affected village\u201d.
\nUrging the DC and NSCN\/GPRN to take immediate action, the signatories said that failing which the \u201cmandated office bearers of the union shall take its own course of action as per the orders\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
