Maytas &amp; Gayatri (J.V) Company\u2019s \u201cmindless and abrupt abandonment of the road construction work\u201d between Changtongya and Longleng despite \u201cour cooperation and service rendered towards the success of the project.\u201d<br \/>\nIn a press release, AVC chairman S.Kilang Longkumer and secretary I Chuba Jamir said \u201cas a result, the road in question becomes dusty during winter and muddy in summer and the public transports ply with great risk of vehicular accidents day and night.\u201d<br \/>\nAVC, therefore, has demanded that the company resume work without any further delay and \u201cfulfill all the commitments made to the public in letter and in spirit.\u201d<br \/>\nThe village council stated that till such time that the company resumed its work in full swing, it would \u201cconfiscate all the machineries\u201d, belonging to the company, which were left behind under its jurisdictions. <br \/>\nAVC cautioned that the \u201caction shall enforce with immediate effect.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Akhoya Village Council (AVC) has expressed displeasure with M\/S.
