Speaking at the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) Nagaland Chapter at the I&PR Citadel in Kohima Friday, Imokokba appreciated the systematic activities taken up by various media departments in reaching out to the public with variety information and programmes. <\/p>\n
Stating that working in information field was difficult task, he said media agencies needed to be recognized and appreciated so as to encourage them to excel in their profession. <\/p>\n
On this, I&PR director reminded that the government was providing cash allowances to accredited journalists. <\/p>\n
Highlighting on the forthcoming Golden Jubilee celebration of Nagaland Statehood, Imokokba appealed to all the members to actively participate in making the celebration a success. <\/p>\n
The director suggested the DDK and AIR to make special programmes commemorating the celebration, besides providing adequate Live coverage.<\/p>\n
Addressing the meeting, AIR Kohima director engineering K.K. Rengma said the main purpose of conducting IMPCC was to highlight the various development activity initiated in the state through various department. He said such coordination meeting result in strengthening the working system of each sister department of the Media. <\/p>\n
K.K. Rengma also requested all the members to continue to extend cooperation to make the forum success. <\/p>\n
The next IMPCC meeting would be held September 27 at the office of Doordarshan Kendra, Kohima. The meeting was attended by all Central and State Media organizations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
