Speaking on the occasion, chief guest acknowledged the role played by teachers in building the society. He also asked the students show respect and gratitude to the teachers all the time.<\/p>\n
The chief guest gave certificate and cash award to five teachers for their dedicated services. District education officer D.Panda said growth of a nation depended on the progress of students and asked the teachers to be dedicated in their services.<\/p>\n
He also asked the students to be good so they could become great in life. Entertainment item from JNV, Trinity school, GHS Yangphi and Cambridge were the other highlights of the programme.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, GMS and GPS Phisami Village also celebrated Teacher\u2019s Day in their school. The programme was organized by the staffs of GMS, GPS and St.James School Phisami, Phisami Village. Highlights of the programme included wishing song, Hindi action song, dance, chorography etc.
\nAt Anatonger, a combine Teacher\u2019s Day programme was observed at Christian School Anatongre Village.<\/p>\n
GPS KIPHIRE: In commemoration of teacher\u2019s day, State Bank of India Kiphire branch on September 5 donated an electronic aqua water purifier to GPS (station B) Kiphire Town.<\/p>\n
Wishing the teachers on the occasion, Ranjit Bank official of SBI Kiphire said that teaching was a noble profession which everybody admires, but reminded that being a teacher was a tough task.<\/p>\n
Therefore, he encouraged the teachers to keep up the same spirit even in future, and also asked the students to have self discipline as it leads to success.<\/p>\n
Tsikhase Sangtam delivered the welcome address and V. Akok delivered the vote of thanks.The programme was chaired by Toshila and Sukumar Das Branch Manager SBI Kiphire handed over the water purifier to the School.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Lisecho Sangtam teacher in-charge of GPS (Station B) Kiphire town has extended his gratitude to SBI Kiphire for their concern towards the school and providing the water purifier.

PEREN: Teachers\u2019 Day was celebrated at Peren town hall where all the teachers and students came forward and participated in the programme dedicated to teachers.<\/p>\n
At the function, students presented special songs, speeches and action songs. ADC Peren Bodeno S Colo, who graced the occasion as chief guest, gave away certificates and cash awards to the three District Award recipients.<\/p>\n
Besides all the teachers of the schools in Peren town were also presented with gifts. Dimapur: GHS Thahekhu also celebrated Teacher\u2019s Day at Thahekhu Memorial Hall with much gaiety.<\/p>\n
Welcome song, skits, colourful dances and display of martial arts were presented by various groups of students. <\/p>\n
Village council chairman Kakheho Yepthomi and SMC chairman Vitohe Chishi also spoke at the function. Teachers were honoured with the gifts.<\/p>\n
The function concluded with distribution of sweets to students and light refreshment to all the teachers and invitees.<\/p>\n
Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School students also observed teachers day at DABA, Kher mahal on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Mount Mary Higher Secondary School Chumukedima celebrated Teacher\u2019s Day at school premise. At the occasion, special speech was delivered by Dr. M Chuba Ao, state BJP president.<\/p>\n
Members of Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Venda celebrated teachers day at Herbert Spencer School, Dimapur. Secretary of the Club Lion Lalita R. Khadria in her speech spoke on the importance of teachers in nation building. Altogether eighteen teachers were felicitated and sweets were distributed among the students.<\/p>\n
Govt. High school, Rusoma: State Bank of India, Kohima Branch, as a part of SBI\u2019s nationwide agenda of donating ceiling fans to 12000 plus schools all over the country has donated ten ceiling fans to Govt. High School, Rusoma, Kohima. <\/p>\n
The programme was undertaken in connection SBI\u2019s Corporate Social Responsibility on the occasion of teacher\u2019s day.<\/p>\n
SBI Kohima Branch was represented by Deputy Manager P.K. Das and a team of officials. Speaking on the occasion, Yansaromo T. Lotha, Unit Secretary, SBISA Kohima Unit, Kohima Branch, highlighted the efforts made by SBI in \u2018Community Service Banking\u2019 area for social relevant causes and thanked the teachers for their yeoman service in building and moulding the students who are the future of the society. <\/p>\n
