{"id":162835,"date":"2013-09-07T01:50:47","date_gmt":"2013-09-07T01:50:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/09\/07\/npcc-demand-for-pr-illogical-npf\/"},"modified":"2013-09-07T01:50:47","modified_gmt":"2013-09-07T01:50:47","slug":"npcc-demand-for-pr-illogical-npf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/09\/07\/npcc-demand-for-pr-illogical-npf\/","title":{"rendered":"NPCC demand for PR illogical: NPF"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>NPF-led DAN has out rightly rejected the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) demand for President\u2019s Rule (PR) in the state and has termed the demand as \u201cundemocratic and illogical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, NPF press and media bureau has accused the NPCC of resorting to its old formula of making noise in the form of baseless allegations and making unreasonable demands as it continued to remain cut off from the grass roots.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to NPCC statement, NPF said NPCC has once again exposes its political stand and the party\u2019s dependence on its high command. <\/p>\n<p>NPF said the NPCC\u2019s call for president\u2019s rule also vindicated what the former has been saying all along that Congress leaders in the state have become \u201cagents of outsiders\u201d against the Naga people. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir only hope now is to rule the State through their high command by hoping to impose president\u2019s rule against the will of the people and against the spirit of democracy,\u201d said NPF and maintained that the Congress culture was alien to Naga culture, as opposed to NPF for whom the people were the real high command.<\/p>\n<p>NPF said the overall situation in the state was being constantly monitored with appropriate actions whenever needed. The party said NPF-led DAN government was running with the \u201cactive and positive\u201d cooperation of the people through civil societies and mass based organisations. <\/p>\n<p>With regard to matters of grave concern and policy, the government has always taken the views of the people through consultations and deliberations, said NPF and dismissed the Congress allegation that the government was avoiding its responsibility by \u201coutsourcing law and order.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>NPF also reminded that that salaries of teachers were being paid without any delay but salaries which were directly funded through Central programmes have been delayed since the government was awaiting sanction from the government of India.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>With regard to issues related to GHSS Mon, NPF said contingency arrangements have been put in place in order to ensure that the normal schedule of students were not disturbed and the academic session was being carried out in a smooth manner. <\/p>\n<p>NPF further added that NPCC seemed to be making noise without getting its facts right as all its allegations were \u201cempty and do not hold any water.\u201d In the face of political desperation, NPCC has found no option but to scamper to its high command with folded hands, said NPF.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>It may be mentioned that NPCC president S.I Jamir had said his party was compelled to demand President\u2019s rule in Nagaland because of \u201cbreakdown in law and order machinery and widespread corruption\u201d and failures on several fronts by the NPF-led DAN government.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>While raising the question: \u201cwho is running the government?\u201d, Jamir accused the NPF-led DAN government of being \u201call rhetoric and no substance.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He alleged that \u201cthe conspiratorial silence\u201d of the DAN government \u201cin the face of people\u2019s revolt against unabated and illegal taxations, including the Petroleum Dealers Association (PDA) sudden strike\u201d should be countered with equal measure and that only President\u2019s rule \u201cshould satisfy the hapless Naga people\u201d. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NPF-led DAN has out rightly rejected the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) demand for President\u2019s Rule (PR) in the state and has termed the demand as \u201cundemocratic and illogical.\u201d In a statement, NPF press and media bureau has accused the NPCC of resorting to its old formula of making noise in the form of baseless [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-162835","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/162835","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=162835"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/162835\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=162835"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=162835"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=162835"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
