According to SDPO Niuland, Mhonyamo Tsopoe, the raid was conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 20 retailers and wholesalers. During the raid, 20 cartoons of expired medicines were seized, he added. <\/p>\n
The seized items were handed over to the drug controller for disposal. He further informed that the team would continue such raids from time to time. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Dimapur police conducted another raid on nine hardware shops and godowns in Dimapur. SDPO Dimapur Relo Aye told media persons that during the raid they seized nine brands of cement and MS rods for sample testing. He said the result of the test would be known only after a month. <\/p>\n
2 held for extortion <\/span> The two identified as Raju Das (18) and Sushan Roy (22) was arrested at around 9 p.m. Thursday, while they were collecting money from houses, police told media persons.<\/p>\n Cash around Rs. 3470 was also seized from the possession of the two.
