{"id":16464,"date":"2013-01-25T22:13:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-25T22:13:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/01\/25\/sylvester-settlement-with-late-sister\/"},"modified":"2013-01-25T22:13:28","modified_gmt":"2013-01-25T22:13:28","slug":"sylvester-settlement-with-late-sister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/01\/25\/sylvester-settlement-with-late-sister\/","title":{"rendered":"Sylvester settlement with late sister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/QEJNZDLRUYSMJMOXVHNV.jpg>Sylvester Stallone secretly agreed a multi-million deal with his late half-sister amid claims he had abused her for years.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Rocky\u2019 star agreed 16 years ago to give Toni-Ann Filiti $2 million plus $16,666.66 per month for her lifetime, as well as a trust with $50,000 per year for psychiatric and medical expenses.<\/p>\n<p>According to the papers &#8211; which have been seen by the New York Post newspaper &#8211; Filiti \u201casserted claims for personal injury, including physical injury\u201d against Stallone, who \u201cvigorously denied and continues to deny and dispute all claims of wrongdoing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sources say Filiti &#8211; who died last August at the age of 48 &#8211; threatened a lawsuit, but the 66-year-old star settled before it was ever filed. Stallone\u2019s mother, Jacqueline, says the settlement was the result of a \u201cshakedown\u201d and Stallone was a victim of blackmail.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cThis was nothing more than a shakedown. Toni-Ann was on 65 Oxycontin pills a day, and she threatened Sylvester. A drug addict will do anything. When Sylvester became famous, she didn\u2019t have to hook. He was trying to help her. He caved in\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were too many conflicting stories. At the time [in 1987] he was very hot, and his lawyers said, \u2018Give her something just to shut her up\u2019\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>But Filiti\u2019s 19-year-old son Edd, hit back saying: \u201cThey\u2019ve made my mother out to be the black sheep,\u201d and claims Filiti told him of the abuse allegations by \u201cscreaming about [them] over and over\u201d while in a Florida hospital bed last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sylvester Stallone secretly agreed a multi-million deal with his late half-sister amid claims he had abused her for years.
