February 15.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In a press release, Kohima Municipal Council stated that it has worked out certain conditions for strict supervision and monitoring by panchayats and sanitation committees.<\/div>\n<div>Kohima Municipal Council have worked out certain conditions for strict supervision by Panchayats and Sanitation Committees for strict supervision and monitoring as laid below: &#8211;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>1. Wards vehicles should dump the garbage at the designated site only and not on the roadside leading to the temporary dumping site.<\/div>\n<div>2. All ward vehicles should be properly covered as there have been many complains earlier, regarding littering of waste from the vehicles.<\/div>\n<div>3. Road leading to the new dumping site has many diversions; therefore, Kohima Municipal Council will be putting up road signs.<\/div>\n<div>4. Collection of firewood or any forest product is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be sternly penalized and action taken.<\/div>\n<div>5. All ward sanitary vehicles shall report to the Kohima Municipal Council Toll Gate near BSF Camp. This will be mandatory for every trip.<\/div>\n<div>6. If any complaint &nbsp;is received against a ward sanitary vehicle, Kohima Municipal Council will seize the vehicle and stop the concern ward to dump its garbage at the designated site.<\/div>\n<div>Any changes in the location of dumping site will be further informed.
