In order to thwart untoward incidents, district authorities of Dimapur, Mokokchung, Phek and Zunheboto have promulgated prohibitory orders in certain places ahead of vote count. <\/p>\n
DC Dimapur, in partial modification of earlier order, has extended prohibitory orders to Dimapur town, Kuda village, Lengrijan village, Singrijan village and Dhansiripar sub-division with effect from 6 p.m. of February 27 till further orders. The order prohibits movement of not more than three people in a group. <\/p>\n
In Mokokchung, DC has promulgated Section 144 Cr.Pc in the Mokokchung town and neighboring villages \u2013 Ungma Village, Mokokchung Village, Chuchuyimpang Village, Khensa Village and Mekuli Village \u2013 from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. till further order. <\/p>\n
To ensure smooth counting of votes, DC has appointed number of officials to assist the counting process. <\/p>\n
Also, DC Phek has issued an order imposing 144 Cr.P.C prohibiting the procession\/gathering of more than five persons along the streets\/ground of Phek from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. <\/p>\n
The order came into effect from February 26 and will remain in force till further orders. DC Zunheboto has also imposed prohibitory order in Zunheboto town starting 4 p.m. of February 26 till further orders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
