{"id":167031,"date":"2013-02-28T01:33:14","date_gmt":"2013-02-28T01:33:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/02\/28\/dcc-mon-alleges-poll-code-violation\/"},"modified":"2013-02-28T01:33:14","modified_gmt":"2013-02-28T01:33:14","slug":"dcc-mon-alleges-poll-code-violation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/02\/28\/dcc-mon-alleges-poll-code-violation\/","title":{"rendered":"DCC Mon alleges poll code violation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Alleging violation of model code of conduct by MLA K.Naiba Konyak, who is also NPF candidate from 55 Tobu assembly constituency, the District Congress Committee (DCC) Mon has sought immediate and proper investigation from the responsible authority.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, DCC Mon president Takyong Konyak accused the MLA of illegal use of official writing pad (in picture issued by DCC Mon) and duplicate voters slips to lure innocent voters.<\/p>\n<p>Maintaining that the act exposed the biased mind of the candidate, DCC Mon, to substantiate its claim, made available a document to the media purportedly signed by the MLA and the chief minister.<\/p>\n<p>In the letter, addressed to the chief minister, the MLA stated that village council of Pessao had approached for upgradation of EAC at Pessao with the commitment to support NPF candidate in the election. <\/p>\n<p>Asserting that the whole village of 2487 electors would vote for NPF candidate without any hesitation, the MLA requested chief minister to assure his commitment to the proposal right after the formation of DAN government i.e. first cabinet memo for up gradation.<\/p>\n<p>As an assurance to MLA\u2019s letter, chief minister is understood have written over that letter \u201cAs desired by the area people and recommended by the hon\u2019ble representative, we will consider on top priority basis\u201d.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The alleged assurance given by the chief minister who also signed over the official letter pad, is also dated January 21, 2013 while Naibang\u2019s letter was undated though duly signed.<\/p>\n<p>It may be mentioned that the model code of conduct for the assembly election came into effect with the notification of election by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on January 11 this year.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background:#b4acac; height:px; width:px; float:right; margin:5px;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.nagalandpost.com\/newsimages\/PhotosCollection\/LEPHEOUCAXUKYQOTXFSR.jpg\" style=\" border: 1px solid #000\"\/>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alleging violation of model code of conduct by MLA K.Naiba Konyak, who is also NPF candidate from 55 Tobu assembly constituency, the District Congress Committee (DCC) Mon has sought immediate and proper investigation from the responsible authority.
