Dr. Temsula Ao has been slected for her works in English while Anil Kumar Boro and Makhonmani have been selected for their works in Bodo and Manipuri respectively. <br \/>\nDr. Temsula Ao, a poet, scholar and novelist also won the Padma Shri in 2007.<br \/>\nShe was one of the most widely respected literary figures of the region and was Fulbright Fellow to the University of Minnesota from 1985 to 1986.
