font-style: italic; color: #ff0000;\">AYO condemns Kma clash<\/span><br \/>\nExpressing strong condemnation over Monday\u2019s factional clash in the civilian populated area of Jail Colony Kohima, Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) fervently appealed to all factions to \u201ccease bloodshed between them\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;AYO through its president Khrielievi Ch\u00fcsi, appealed to the \u201csensibilities of the national workers\u201d to heed the voice of the public across Naga inhabited areas&nbsp;&nbsp; and \u201cshun bloodshed and vengeance\u201d between brothers. <\/p>\n<p>AYO also impressed upon the state government to ensure safety of people by preventing casualty of innocent civilians during factional clashes. <\/p>\n<p>AYO pointed out that since the&nbsp; onset of festive season, ushered by the Hornbill Festival, followed by Christmas and New Year were \u201cthe time and tide\u201d of peace among all and therefore urged upon all Naga political groups to \u201cexercise restraint and tolerance\u201d in the larger Naga interests.<\/p>\n<p>AYO also urged upon Kohima district administration and law enforcement agencies to enforce law and order and public safety without hesitation. <\/p>\n<p>It also affirmed to stand steadfast by the district administration while endeavouring to maintain law and order the capital and the district AYO also requested public to extend cooperation with the district administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure a peaceful environment for all citizens.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">ZAYO condemns Zbto clash<\/span><br \/>\nZunheboto Area Youth Organization (ZAYO) has condemned the factional clash that occurred November 18 at Xukhepu village, Zunheboto, in which killing one senior citizen was killed.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, ZAYO president Semto L Sumi stated the gun battle in civilian populated area was a \u201cmisdemeanor\u201d and \u201cbarbaric\u201d that deserved the highest condemnation.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred while the villagers were returning from church after attending the proposed fasting and prayer for the upcoming platinum jubilee celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Asserting that perpetrating such heinous crime even on Sunday was beyond human comprehension, ZAYO said whatever maybe the reason behind the clashes, they must at all time bear in mind that the peaceful environment of the general public was not disturbed by any means. <\/p>\n<p>The organization further articulated that \u201ctriggering war\u201d in public places and killing the public on several occasions predominantly in Zunheboto district despite frequent appeal made by various Sumi frontal organizations was a \u201cgreat contempt to the Sumi community\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>It also maintained that frequent clashes in human inhabited areas created \u201cunease and mental torment to the inhabitants\u201d, adding that the \u201cprotracted endurance\u201d of the Sumis should not be \u201cmisconstrued\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Reminding that Nagas under the banner of FNR, with prayer support from all the Nagas, have been endeavouring their best to bring all the factions together, ZAYO appealed to the warring groups to positively respond to the call of the entire Nagas.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Expressing discontentment with the warring factions for turning Zunheboto into a battle field, ZAYO urged all \u201cright thinking national workers\u201d to follow the \u201cguiding principle of forgive and forget;
