{"id":16870,"date":"2018-07-21T23:58:58","date_gmt":"2018-07-21T23:58:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/07\/21\/rotary-club-installs-water-station-waiting-shed-in-dimapur\/"},"modified":"2018-07-21T23:58:58","modified_gmt":"2018-07-21T23:58:58","slug":"rotary-club-installs-water-station-waiting-shed-in-dimapur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/07\/21\/rotary-club-installs-water-station-waiting-shed-in-dimapur\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotary club installs water  station &#038; waiting shed in Dimapur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/PODVMDURBHPNKHXGJZJW.jpg><\/p>\n<div>Rotary club of Dimapur RI district-3240, held an inauguration program for its \u201cClean Drinking Water &amp; Waiting Shed\u201d on Saturday, at Golagat road, Dimapur.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The \u201cClean Drinking Water &amp; Waiting Shed\u201d was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The waiting shed consists of a room for use by club members while the clean water station is open to the general public.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Giving a briefing about the project, rotarian president Dr. Nitin Agarwal stated that the installation project was implemented under the permanent assets committee headed by PD Chandu Agarwal.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He said that the project is the renovation of an old project that had shut down. According to Dr. Agarwal, the project is dedicated to the citizens of Dimapur and was built with the objective of providing a public utility service.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Dr. Agarwal also maintained that over the years the club had installed eight drinking water stations &amp; toilet projects in and around Dimapur within schools and public places. He promised that that the club would continue to come up with such projects even in the days to come.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He also asked NGOs take the lead, village council and GBs to maintain the areas and administration to extend their support and assistance.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">According to Dr. Agarwal, the water that people get from the station is double filtered and will be available for use from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Inaugurating the project, DC Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel in his short speech lauded the Rotarians for their initiative which, he said, would benefit the public in general and society as a whole.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He also said the Rotarians had done a commendable job, and added that such initiatives should be appreciated by one and all.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The program was attended by Rotary members, the GB, village council chairman and others.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rotary club of Dimapur RI district-3240, held an inauguration program for its \u201cClean Drinking Water &amp; Waiting Shed\u201d on Saturday, at Golagat road, Dimapur.
