Luoliehu  urges Nagas to choose \u2018godly leaders\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/QGOWEMUCKSAIQFLHAQNC.jpg>In a seminar organized by the Business Association of Nagaland (BAN) under the banner \u201cLeaders\u2019 Arise Seminar\u201d at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, Nagas were urged to choose \u201cgodly leaders\u201d as this was the \u201ccrying need.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stressing on the importance of choosing the right leadership to lead the Nagas forward, renowned preacher and coordinator of Global Indigenous Prayer Network, Australia Reverend Luoliehu Yimsung questioned whether the Nagas are serious with leadership?<\/p>\n<p>He observed that the failure to choose \u201cgodly leaders\u201d has been one of the reasons behind \u201cour setbacks\u201d and added that the need of the hour was to choose \u201cgodly leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reverend Luoliehu who also heads the Overseas Naga Association (ONA) felt that the church was equally responsible in choosing the right leadership. <\/p>\n<p>On this line, he regretted that the Nagas had missed an opportunity in the recent general election held in the early part of this year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;He observed that the clean election campaign was \u201cfar from successful\u201d going by the amount of money spent during the election. \u201cWe had the opportunity, but we missed the bus. <\/p>\n<p>And now our focus is on the next general election\u2026are we honest to ourselves by beating around the bush,\u201d he wondered.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to a group of entrepreneurs on the topic \u201cRadical leaders for critical hour\u201d, the reverend emphasized on the need of \u201cright people and right relationship and urged them to hold responsibility to address the burning issues of the state. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen only you take responsibility to contribute for the well being of the society, you come to know yourself that you will need to do more and more. <\/p>\n<p>A thousand miles starts with a single step,\u201d said apostle Luoliehu who is now based in Australia with his family.<\/p>\n<p>He further advised the businessmen on effective leadership. \u201cAs leaders, let us have the ability, understanding, creativity, intuition, sense of teamwork to lead others. <\/p>\n<p>If you are not strong and don\u2019t have the ability as a leader, then it gives insecurity to your people,\u201d he underlined. <\/p>\n<p>The seminar was chaired by general secretary BAN Dr Khekugha Muru and the welcome address was delivered by treasurer, BAN Mongkum Jamir.
