{"id":171004,"date":"2013-01-09T23:49:22","date_gmt":"2013-01-09T23:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/01\/09\/sechu-zubza-observes-foundation-day\/"},"modified":"2013-01-09T23:49:22","modified_gmt":"2013-01-09T23:49:22","slug":"sechu-zubza-observes-foundation-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/01\/09\/sechu-zubza-observes-foundation-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Sech\u00fc Zubza observes foundation day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/CGMCYEYNTLDMEUOWMJSW.jpg>Sech\u00fc Zubza village observed its 28th foundation day on December 29 at the Village Council hall with Neilhoukhotuo Kielieny\u00fc, District Project Officer, Mokokchung, as chief guest.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, the chief guest urged for oneness and unity amongst the villagers. <\/p>\n<p>He said unity will bring development and stressed on the need to come together so that the village will surge ahead.<\/p>\n<p>With Sech\u00fc Zubza located at the stretch of National Highway 29, Kielieny\u00fc urged the villagers to take up the challenge to set standards for others to emulate. <\/p>\n<p>To this, he underlined the need for proper sanitation and regular cleanliness drive. \u201cThis is one area where others will get to learn from us as they pass through the village,\u201d he said, adding, that the desired initiative is achievable if the villagers have the will to make it happen. <\/p>\n<p>He also encouraged the village council and all the respective organizations under it to initiate immediate plans to keep the village neat and clean, also keeping in mind that many educational institutions and organization centers are mushrooming with each passing year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s developmental activities become wastage of funds tomorrow if not planned properly,\u201d he said and said the village leaders would have to play an important role in its progress. <\/p>\n<p>Foreseeing that Sech\u00fc Zubza has scope for major developmental activities to take place, mainly for its location and also being the sub-divisional centre of the western Angamis, he advised the villagers to cooperate with the government in any undertakings. <\/p>\n<p>Exhorting the gathering, village council, chairman, Neikuo Sech\u00fc also stressed on unity and oneness. He said the village (Sech\u00fc Zubza) comprises of people coming from different corners of Nagaland, mostly western Angami villages and cautioned that disunity among the villagers will be a huge detrimental force in separating its people. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo let true sense of brotherhood prevail in us as we strive to live as one. And unity should be our greatest weapon,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier, invocation was said by Khriengulie Kuotsu, pastor, Sech\u00fc Zubza Baptist Church, welcome address by R\u00fc\u00fcngutuo Sech\u00fc, advisor, Sech\u00fc Zubza Day Committee and a song by Sech\u00fc Zubza Baptist Youth Department. <\/p>\n<p>The programme was chaired by Khuny\u00fc Rino, Sech\u00fc Zubza Day Committee, chairman.<br \/>\nFolk song competition and grand feast also marked the occasion. <\/p>\n<p>The programme was attended by Sech\u00fc Zubza villagers from all walks of life and in-laws from far and near.&nbsp; Mention may be made that Sech\u00fc Zubza Day is observed once in every three years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sech\u00fc Zubza village observed its 28th foundation day on December 29 at the Village Council hall with Neilhoukhotuo Kielieny\u00fc, District Project Officer, Mokokchung, as chief guest.
