{"id":171727,"date":"2013-11-08T01:09:48","date_gmt":"2013-11-08T01:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/11\/08\/pbca-holds-eye-camp-in-longleng\/"},"modified":"2013-11-08T01:09:48","modified_gmt":"2013-11-08T01:09:48","slug":"pbca-holds-eye-camp-in-longleng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/11\/08\/pbca-holds-eye-camp-in-longleng\/","title":{"rendered":"PBCA holds eye camp in Longleng"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Community rural health services being one of its primary concerns, the Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA), in partnership with state department of health and family welfare, conducted an eye camp at the district hospital, Longleng from October 26 to November 2, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Eye camp, which was jointly sponsored by PBCA and the Medical Ministry International (MMI), USA, catered to 805 patients where 503 patients were distributed free glasses, and 75 cataract surgeries conducted and the rest were given free check up and eye drops and other medicines. <\/p>\n<p>Besides, PBCA also whitewashed district hospital and carried out minor renovation of some rooms including the operation theatre.A short formal launching programme was held at the district hospital premises and a valedictory service at the PBCA headquarters November 1.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA) has expressed gratitude to all the responsible for the cooperation and support extended for success of the Camp. <\/p>\n<p>PBCA said it was overjoyed to see many patients whose vision has been restored, especially a couple who have not seen each other for the last ten years and many patients who were able to receive sights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Community rural health services being one of its primary concerns, the Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA), in partnership with state department of health and family welfare, conducted an eye camp at the district hospital, Longleng from October 26 to November 2, 2013.
