{"id":171929,"date":"2013-11-05T01:53:51","date_gmt":"2013-11-05T01:53:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/11\/05\/gprn-nscn-reacts-to-nscn-k-statement\/"},"modified":"2013-11-05T01:53:51","modified_gmt":"2013-11-05T01:53:51","slug":"gprn-nscn-reacts-to-nscn-k-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/11\/05\/gprn-nscn-reacts-to-nscn-k-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"GPRN\/NSCN reacts to NSCN (K) statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>GPRN\/NSCN Monday said it was compelled to \u201cquestion the statement of NSCN (K) that appeared in the local dailies on November 4 with regard to the Zunheboto P.S incident.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, GPRN\/NSCN, MIP said it had \u201cquestioned the integrity of Zunheboto SP through the print media on November 1, 2013, where he played a vital role in the jailbreak of Zunheboto town by Khaplang boys on October 28\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>GPRN\/NSCN said \u201csurprisingly, PHQ decided to ignore the GPRN statement and the Khaplang group responded on its behalf\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince the Khaplang group seems to be acting as the mouth-piece of SP Zunheboto\u201d, MIP said the GPRN was forced to ask \u201cwhat stake the SP hold in the Khaplang group?\u201d.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe October 29 incident at Zunheboto police station and the response of the Khaplang group when he was questioned clearly shows a nexus between the two\u201d, MIP said. GPRN\/NSCN said it was prompted to ask the PHQ on the \u201crole of a senior police official assisting in a crime under its jurisdiction.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Pointing out that the \u201cKhaplang group is also under the cease-fire agreement with the GoI\u201d, MIP said under \u201cno circumstance can a group that is under the ceasefire agreement break district jail and free the criminal as that of the October 29, 2013\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>GPRN\/NSCN said it would not issue further statement on this matter, \u201cbut with a reminder that, henceforth appropriate actions shall be initiated against any erring police officer under whose authority NSA may be imposed upon the GPRN members in the future\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GPRN\/NSCN Monday said it was compelled to \u201cquestion the statement of NSCN (K) that appeared in the local dailies on November 4 with regard to the Zunheboto P.S incident.
