Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) after the introductory and interaction session after its first team of office bearers took offices, at the conference hall of BookMarc Dimapur, reaffirmed the pledge to protect land and resources and to reiterate its representation submitted to the government of Nagaland against recognition of Rongmei tribe as one of the scheduled tribes of Nagaland. <\/p>\n
A joint communiqu\u00e9 issued by NTC vice president Lendinokdang, general secretary Nribemo Ngullie and secretary I&P Theja Therieh said the meeting which deliberated on various pertinent and ongoing issues, also resolved to extend solidarity and support to ACAUT in the latter\u2019s endeavour to fight against unabated taxation in Nagaland. Solo expressed confidence that NTC will be able to deliver genuine services to the citizens of Nagaland with the cooperation of all.
