Naga National Council (NNC) has appealed to all the Naga people especially the \u2018National Workers\u2019 to solemnly observe the \u2018Naga National Martyrs\u2019 Day\u2019 October 18 with prayer and respect. <\/p>\n
In a press release, NNC information and publicity wing said Naga people should never forget the \u2018National Martyrs\u2019 Day\u2019 as Naga people and nation become well known politically in the world because of the Naga martyrs\u2019 sacrificial deeds.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose who laid down their lives for the Naga freedom should be honoured and pay due respect on the national day of ours for their noble deeds for the Naga nation and their sacrificial deeds will never go in vain,\u201d stated the release. <\/p>\n
Further, NNC information and publicity wing stated that the present generation should remember and observe the Day as a \u201cNational duty of respect and honour to the National heroes as they gave their all for the freedom of the Naga people in particular.\u201d<\/p>\n
