In a statement, GPRN\/NSCN MIP said on October 26 and 27, Assam Rifles (AR) arrested NSCN (K) functionaries- \u2018sgt.\u2019 Aloto, deputy secretary Kivigho and \u2018pvte.\u2019 <\/p>\n

MIP said Hoikhu was caught by the police from the station, while Isak fled the scene. \u201cThe same night, Hoikhu was released at the order of the SP, which has baffled the general public as well as the GPRN\/NSCN\u201d, MIP stated.<\/p>\n
MIP questioned on what grounds Hoikhu was released and how was it possible for Isak and Hoikhu to free their \u201cboys\u201d while in police custody. GPRN\/NSCN asked why would a responsible police officer free a \u201ccriminal in the middle of the night.\u201d <\/p>\n
The group has alleged that there have been a number of incidences where GPRN\/NSCN cadres were arrested by the police for petty reasons, but at the instructions of Chumrenthung Lotha, the cadres were booked under National Security Act (NSA) whereas \u201cBurmese cadres\u201d were released or helped plan to escape by the SP.<\/p>\n
GPRN\/NSCN asked the PHQ If the department was aware of the activities happening in Zunheboto town under the command of its officer Chumrenthung Lotha and what kind of punishments should be meted out to erring officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
