ZCN first general session: Zeme Council Nagaland (ZCN) has convened its first General Session, for March 8, 10 a.m. at Peren Town. All concerned members have been requested to attend the session without fail. <\/p>\n
ADEO Peren on scholarships: Assistant District Education Officer (ADEO) Peren has informed beneficiaries that back-log pre-matric scholarships for Schedule Tribe (PMS-ST) of Class IX & X for the academic session 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19, which could not be credited due to dormant\/inactive or incorrect account details given by the students will be disbursed at the ADEO office, Peren. The concerned principal\/headmaster, both government & private schools, have been asked to inform concerned students to come and check the back-log name list along with their bank passbook and original mark sheet of the mentioned years from March 1 to 31. After the expiry of the said date, the office of ADEO will not entertain any such cases.<\/p>\n
DPDB meeting Mokokchung: DC and vice chairman of DPDB Mokokchung has informed members that the DPDB meeting for Mokokchung will be held on March 7, 11 am at DBs Court, SDO (C) Changtongya office, Chantongya town. All concerned members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.<\/p>\n
NFHRCC consultative meeting: The Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has convened a consultative meeting for March 7, 11 am at Hotel Saramati pertaining to certain clarifications in regard to NFHR\/Nagaland Expressway connectivity at Ralan sector. Apex tribal bodies, department of PWD (R&B), contractor M\/s Trident Enterprises and its associates, Ralan Area Lotha Hoho (RALH) and NFHRCC members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.<\/p>\n
THN annual assembly: The Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland (THN) annual assembly has been convened for March 6, 11 am, to be held at TBC Kuda premises, Dimapur. All concerned members have been requested to attend the assembly without fail. <\/p>\n
NH&HDC Dimapur invites applications for National Handloom Expo: The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (NH&HDC) Dimapur, will be organizing a National Handloom Expo from March 22 to April 4, at Gurkha Panchayat Public Ground, Chandmari Colony. Interested cooperative societies, NGO’s, apex societies, SHG’s, etc. may apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with passport size photographs of the participants along with the application on or before March 18. Application of participants from the same family\/relatives shall not be entertained. Stalls shall be provided free of cost with daily allowances.<\/p>\n
DLE to organize cleanliness drive: Dimapur Longsai Ekhung (DLE) will be organizing a cleanliness drive on March 9, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Nyamo Lotha road. All concerned members have been informed to assemble near Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) by 6 am. It has also requested both Dimapur Longsa Youth Forum (DYLF) and Dimapur Longsa Eloe Khumshum (DLEK) to participate in the drive. <\/p>\n
ENPUDA elects new office bearers: Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Dimapur Area (ENPUDA) held its 30th general meeting on February 23, at the union treasurer’s residence. During the meeting, the house elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2019-2022. The team will be led by Tsalise Sangtam as president, Jungshi Chang as vice president, Doki Yimchunger as general secretary along with three advisors, seven executives committee, three finance committee and four other members.<\/p>\n
ANTA registration: The yearly ANTA registrations have started from March 1 and will close on May 1. All owners and drivers have been requested to register themselves during the said period after which action will be initiated against all erring Taxis. All unregistered new taxis have been asked to refrain from taxi operations until all valid permits and registration processes are completed. Failing to comply with ANTA norms will invite official penalties.<\/p>\n
AHoDs and HoDs directed to attend launching program: Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Temjen Toy, through a circular has informed all AHoDs and HoDs to attend the launching program of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) Pension Scheme for unorganized workers on March 5, 10 am in the Secretariat Conference Hall.
