A representative for the British actor confirmed the breakup to E! News. The couple\u2019s spokesperson said in a statement: \u2018Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months.<\/p>\n
The statement continued: \u2018Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.\u2019<\/p>\n
The British actor and the Australian model began dating in July 2007 before tying the knot in secret three years later just one month after announcing their engagement.<\/p>\n
Former Victoria\u2019s Secret Angel Miranda, 30, gave birth to the couple\u2019s son Flynn in January 2011.
\nThe couple were last pictured together at the beginning of this month, while their final public appearance together was at the opening night of Bloom\u2019s Broadway production of Romeo And Juliet on September 19.<\/p>\n
The 36-year-old actor is currently starring in the play alongside Condola Rashad as his leading lady.
\nDespite already being separated for some months, Miranda gushed about her husband\u2019s performance to the November issue of Cosmopolitan. <\/p>\n
In fact, the couple still looked very much in love as they kept up the pretence of their marriage by cuddling up on the red carpet of Orlando\u2019s play opening. <\/p>\n
Cracks in the marriage began to show in December 2012 after Miranda was forced to deny a report of a growing closeness to actor Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n
The model raised eyebrows in New York after being seen partying with the star. Miranda partied the night away at Leo\u2019s birthday on November 10, then the pair enjoyed a dinner with friends on the 21st, before they were joined by Cameron Diaz at a club opening on the 30th. <\/p>\n
