{"id":180559,"date":"2013-10-08T00:23:28","date_gmt":"2013-10-08T00:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/10\/08\/rush-could-help-f1-break-us-jenson-button\/"},"modified":"2013-10-08T00:23:28","modified_gmt":"2013-10-08T00:23:28","slug":"rush-could-help-f1-break-us-jenson-button","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/10\/08\/rush-could-help-f1-break-us-jenson-button\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Rush\u2019 could help F1 break US &#8211; Jenson Button"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/OZRIKVDAZNDSHXCGUDCF.jpg>Former world champion Jenson Button says the success of Formula One film \u2018Rush\u2019 could help the sport finally get a hold in the United States. <\/p>\n<p>Formula One bosses have long dreamed of the sport having the kind of popularity in the US that it enjoys in Europe. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a really good film and hopefully a film that\u2019s going to help us break America with Formula One,\u201d McLaren driver Button told reporters ahead of Sunday\u2019s Korean Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Director Ron Howard\u2019s high-octane film, released last month to critical acclaim, tells the true story of the legendary 1970s rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always very difficult for a racing driver to watch a film about motor racing because we pick out every situation which we don\u2019t think is correct in terms of the racing on the track,\u201d said Britain\u2019s Button, world champion in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo film is ever going to be quite right because you have to do the racing at much less speed.\u201d \u201cBut I think they did a good job with the race situations and the emotions with the drivers and the fight between the drivers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe only bit they missed out was that they were good friends but that doesn\u2019t make for a great film, does it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The United States Grand Prix is on November 17 in Austin and a race in New Jersey has been listed as \u2018provisional\u2019 on the 2014 schedule.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former world champion Jenson Button says the success of Formula One film \u2018Rush\u2019 could help the sport finally get a hold in the United States.
