{"id":180847,"date":"2018-09-13T12:14:12","date_gmt":"2018-09-13T12:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/09\/13\/nsf-to-hold-public-rally-in-dimapur-today\/"},"modified":"2018-09-13T12:14:12","modified_gmt":"2018-09-13T12:14:12","slug":"nsf-to-hold-public-rally-in-dimapur-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/09\/13\/nsf-to-hold-public-rally-in-dimapur-today\/","title":{"rendered":"NSF to hold public rally in Dimapur today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>As a part of its third phase of initiative to check Inner Line Permit (ILP) defaulters and influx of Illegal immigrants into Nagaland, besides demanding inclusion of Dimapur district under the purview of ILP, Naga Students&rsquo; Federation (NSF) is organising a public rally at City Tower here at 11 a.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued by its general secretary Imtiyapang Imsong, NSF called upon all citizens concerned and general public to extend support and co-operation to make the proposed public rally a huge success.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, reiterating its demand for bringing Dimapur district under ILP regime, The Indigenous Naga (TIN) has announced its support to NSF&rsquo;s proposed rally on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release issued by its media cell, TIN appealed to all right-thinking indigenous Naga citizens of various organisations to boldly come forward in supporting this popular demand of the Nagas.<\/p>\n<p>Appealing to the State government to bring Dimapur district under ILP before more damage could be done by infiltrators, the group also questioned the government what was taking it so long in initiating the process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The government must take necessary measures for the safety and security of its citizens, it demanded.<\/p>\n<p>TIN explained that it came into being to protect rights of indigenous Nagas as &ldquo;undocumented&rdquo; infiltration of illegal immigrants in the State had threatened the very existence of the Nagas socio-economically.
