{"id":180890,"date":"2018-09-15T13:10:32","date_gmt":"2018-09-15T13:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/09\/15\/nnpgs-wc-flays-abduction\/"},"modified":"2018-09-15T13:10:32","modified_gmt":"2018-09-15T13:10:32","slug":"nnpgs-wc-flays-abduction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/09\/15\/nnpgs-wc-flays-abduction\/","title":{"rendered":"NNPGs WC flays abduction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>NNPGs Working Committee (WC) has expressed dismay over the recurrence in kidnapping, abduction and confinement of Naga national workers.<\/p>\n<p>NNPGs WC in a press note said it was &ldquo;very unfortunate to learn that in recent times there has been a recurrence in kidnapping, abduction and confinement of Naga national workers by NSCN (I-M) at Hebron camp.&rdquo; WC said that though no fatality had been perpetrated this time, the ghost of 1988 and aftermath should not be revived in Nagaland as &ldquo;abducting national workers at this juncture was too reckless&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>WC said &ldquo;it was unimaginable that Nagaland would become a haven for abductors and ransom seekers in the garb of nationalism, where bona-fide citizens become unsafe in their own land Nagaland, God forbid, it should not happen.&rdquo; WC said this characteristic do not conform to the principle of Naga brotherhood and fraternity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It also asked for &ldquo;all national workers detained at Hebron camp to be released immediately unharmed, lest misunderstanding arises among the Nagas and consequences become too high a price to even imagine.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Further, the WC also clarified to &ldquo;some misinformed Nagas&rdquo; who perpetually accused it of confining negotiations with the government of India only to &ldquo;the state of Nagaland&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>WC said &ldquo;political agreement will not sustain untill and unless Nagas in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam are made absolute masters over their ancestral lands and resources, natural or manmade, conforming to history and political right.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NNPGs WC flays abduction<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-180890","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/180890","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=180890"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/180890\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=180890"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=180890"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=180890"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
