{"id":180942,"date":"2018-09-18T13:13:58","date_gmt":"2018-09-18T13:13:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/09\/18\/dc-dmu-convenes-meeting-for-m-rvc\/"},"modified":"2018-09-18T13:13:58","modified_gmt":"2018-09-18T13:13:58","slug":"dc-dmu-convenes-meeting-for-m-rvc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/09\/18\/dc-dmu-convenes-meeting-for-m-rvc\/","title":{"rendered":"DC Dmu convenes meeting for M-RVC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Deputy commissioner, Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, convened a meeting on September 18, at the DC&rsquo;s office conference hall, Dimapur in connection with Measles- Rubella Vaccination Campaign (M-RVC) scheduled to start from October 3 to November 7.<\/p>\n<p>According to DIPR report, Sushil Kumar asked the administrative officers to coordinate with the concerned councils and GBs by convening meetings so that the message of Measles-Rubella campaign reaches out to the masses. The DC also directed ADC Niuland and SDO (C) Dhansiripar to find out ways and means to reach out to the people about the campaign. Sushil Kumar expressed gratitude to the Lions Club Dimapur for coming forward to help in the campaign by contributing hoardings and pamphlets. He asked the DMC to identify hoarding spaces in five locations and put up the same. The DC also said that stickers relating to MR would be pasted on taxis and autorickshaws to create awareness about the campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ushma Dharod from WHO, Rapid Response Team (RRT), also speaking in the meeting said that the main objective of the campaign was to eliminate measles and control Rubella by 2020.
