{"id":181071,"date":"2018-09-25T12:57:01","date_gmt":"2018-09-25T12:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/09\/25\/cleanliness-should-begin-at-home-acharya\/"},"modified":"2018-09-25T12:57:01","modified_gmt":"2018-09-25T12:57:01","slug":"cleanliness-should-begin-at-home-acharya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/09\/25\/cleanliness-should-begin-at-home-acharya\/","title":{"rendered":"Cleanliness should begin at home: Acharya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2018_9$large_east.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Calling for an end to open defecation, the Governor of Nagaland and National Brand Ambassador for Swachh Bharat Mission, PB Acharya, on Tuesday said cleanliness should begin at home and suggested that every household should have proper toilets.<\/p>\n<p>Acharya, who took part in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan North East States (NAMASTE) at Rajbari Fields, Manipuri Basti, Guwahati along with brand Ambassadors of North East NAMASTE States Swachh Bharat Mission Committee, emphasised on the importance of having clean surroundings and proper sanitation at home.<\/p>\n<p>Governor said that Swachh Bharat Mission launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on October 2, 2014 aims to build one crore individual household toilets besides 2.52 crore community toilet seats.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the Mission seeks to eliminate open defecation and manual scavenging, besides promoting modern and scientific municipal solid waste management and achieve a Clean India by October 02, 2019 Mahatma Gandhi&rsquo;s 150th Birth Anniversary.&nbsp; He called upon all responsible to take active part in the Mission and to contribute towards Nation building.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The programme was attended by Convener North East NAMASTE States Swachh Bharat Mission Committee, Sotai Kri of Arunachal Pradesh and Members of the Committee including Neelam Dutta of Assam, Ram Pada Jamatia of Tripura and Shoupen Phom of Nagaland.&nbsp; A social work in the vicinity led by the Governor was also conducted after the end of the formal programme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cleanliness should begin at home: Acharya<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-181071","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/181071","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=181071"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/181071\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=181071"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=181071"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=181071"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
