{"id":18421,"date":"2018-07-24T00:33:29","date_gmt":"2018-07-24T00:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/07\/24\/maruti-suzuki-crosses-20-mn-production-mark\/"},"modified":"2018-07-24T00:33:29","modified_gmt":"2018-07-24T00:33:29","slug":"maruti-suzuki-crosses-20-mn-production-mark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/07\/24\/maruti-suzuki-crosses-20-mn-production-mark\/","title":{"rendered":"Maruti Suzuki crosses 20 mn production-mark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) on Monday said that it has crossed production of 20 million vehicles in India at its Gurugram and Manesar facilities.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">According to the company, the distinctive feat has been attained in 34 years and 6 months since start of production in December 1983.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">\u201cFor over three decades, Maruti Suzuki has worked to listen and meet the evolving customer aspirations with contemporary products of global quality,\u201d Maruti Suzuki India\u2019s MD and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa was quoted as saying in a statement.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">\u201cWe are committed to serve customers with products and services, which are best in quality, safety and ahead in technology.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The company had achieved the 1 million production in March 1994, nearly after a decade after start of manufacturing cars.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">\u201cThe 5 million milestone was achieved in April 2005, while 10 million was hit in March 2011. In the next seven years, the company achieved 20 million production milestone,\u201d the statement said. At present, Maruti Suzuki manufactures 16 models for domestic market.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Vehicles made in India are also exported to more than 100 countries in Europe, Japan, Asia, Africa and Latin America.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">\u201cOf the 20 million units, 14.37 million vehicles are manufactured in Gurugram, while 5.62 million vehicles are from the Manesar facility,\u201d the statement added.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) on Monday said that it has crossed production of 20 million vehicles in India at its Gurugram and Manesar facilities.
