The 24-year-old singer – who earns around \u00a341,000 a day from sales of her 2011 album \u201821\u2019 – may have splashed out on a \u00a37 million mansion in West Sussex, South England and \u00a3800,000 on a home in London\u2019s Notting Hill, but her aunt Anita Adkins insists she hasn\u2019t changed with her new-found wealth.<\/p>\n
Anita said: \u201cShe hasn\u2019t changed with her success, she is who she is. What you see is what you get, the package\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cApart from a few expensive ballgowns, why would she change because she\u2019s earning \u00a341,000 a day.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s quite thrifty with her money, she knows not to throw it around. She\u2019s not a waster, she wasn\u2019t brought up to waste\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s got a nice house – course you would have a nice house, that\u2019s the first thing you\u2019d buy. But what\u2019s the difference between her house and mine? Only it\u2019s a bit bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n
Anita insists Adele – who has six-month-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki – is still treated exactly the same as she always was when she visits family and is expected to do her share of the chores.<\/p>\n
She added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: \u201cShe doesn\u2019t get any special treatment, of course not. Why would she?<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s plenty of nieces, nephews and grandchildren in this family so no one gets any special treatment, I can tell you. <\/p>\n
