{"id":18583,"date":"2018-03-04T23:35:13","date_gmt":"2018-03-04T23:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/03\/04\/cfc-organises-kids-for-christ-family-conference\/"},"modified":"2018-03-04T23:35:13","modified_gmt":"2018-03-04T23:35:13","slug":"cfc-organises-kids-for-christ-family-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/03\/04\/cfc-organises-kids-for-christ-family-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"CFC organises \u2018kids for Christ family conference\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/STRGWCIQOLIATPUKTCUN.jpg><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Couples For Christ (CFC) Nagaland held \u201cCFC kids for Christ family conference\u201d at R\u00fcsoma Village, Kohima on March 4, under the theme, a family for Jesus!\u201d and anchor verse, \u201cwe stand for Jesus\u201d as on 1st Cor. 16:13-14.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">According to a press note by state coordinator-cum-chapter head, CFC Nagaland, Mengukhreituo Marcus the overall message of this conference revolved around \u201cfamily as God\u2019s plan\u201d, \u201cimportance of communication (one to one\u2019s) with each member of the family\u201d, \u201cimportance of praying, not only as an individual but as one family (household)\u201d, \u201cimportance of a family meal, family meal as a hidden sacrament\u201d, \u201cgratefulness of a family for the presence of each members in their lives, all the blessings that God has blessed them (honoring)\u201d and that \u201cfamilies are called to be witnesses (do everything in love)\u201d, while the tone and atmosphere of the conference was \u201chappy home\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It may be noted that the Couples for Christ (CFC) is a private international association of the faithful in accordance with the Apostolic Constitution Pastor Bonus for the Roman Curia. The Pontifical Council for the Laity of the Holy See (Vatican) temporarily recognised on March 11, 2000 and finally approved on April 25, 2005.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Further, the press note informed that CFC was a work of Christ which raise up Christian couples and establish Christian families committed to the work of evangelisation and winning the world for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. CFC also informed its family ministries care for other family members through<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">\u201cCFC kids for Christ (KFC)\u201d, which aims to provide a Christian support environment for kids of couples for Christ members who are between the ages of 4-12, \u201cCFC Youth for Christ (YFC)\u201d, which provided a Christian support environment for young teenagers between 13 to 21, \u201cCFC Singles for Christ (SFC)\u201d which provides a Christian support environment for single men and women who are at the crossroads of their state of life, \u201cCFC Handmaids of the Lord (HOLD)\u201d &#8211; a Christian support environment for single mature women, widows, separated or divorced women, single parents, wives of overseas workers etc and \u201cCFC Servants of the Lord (SOLD)\u201d which is the counterpart of CFC HOLD for men.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Couples For Christ (CFC) Nagaland held \u201cCFC kids for Christ family conference\u201d at R\u00fcsoma Village, Kohima on March 4, under the theme, a family for Jesus!\u201d and anchor verse, \u201cwe stand for Jesus\u201d as on 1st Cor. 16:13-14.
