{"id":186638,"date":"2018-08-17T12:42:53","date_gmt":"2018-08-17T12:42:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/08\/17\/india-s-forex-reserves-deplete-by-over-1-80-bn\/"},"modified":"2018-08-17T12:42:53","modified_gmt":"2018-08-17T12:42:53","slug":"india-s-forex-reserves-deplete-by-over-1-80-bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/08\/17\/india-s-forex-reserves-deplete-by-over-1-80-bn\/","title":{"rendered":"India\u2019s forex reserves deplete by over $1.80 bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>India&rsquo;s foreign exchange (Forex) reserves plunged by $1.82 billion during the week ended August 10, official data showed on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) weekly statistical supplement, the overall forex reserves plunged to $400.88 billion from $402.70 billion reported for the week ended August 3.<\/p>\n<p>India&rsquo;s forex reserves comprise of foreign currency assets (FCAs), gold reserves, special drawing rights (SDRs) and the RBI&rsquo;s position with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).<\/p>\n<p>Segment-wise, FCAs &#8212; the largest component of the Forex reserves &#8212; receded by $1.94 billion to $376.26 billion during the week under review.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Besides the US dollar, FCAs consist of nearly 20-30 per cent of major global currencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, the value of the country&rsquo;s gold reserves increased by $145.6 million to $20.69 billion.<\/p>\n<p>As per the data, the SDRs&rsquo; value slipped by $9.2 million to $1.46 billion, while the country&rsquo;s reserve position with the IMF inched down by $9.2 million to $2.45 billion.<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India\u2019s forex reserves deplete by over $1.80 bn<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[667],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-186638","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-business"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/186638","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=186638"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/186638\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=186638"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=186638"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=186638"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
