{"id":186670,"date":"2018-11-10T11:46:53","date_gmt":"2018-11-10T11:46:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/11\/10\/sanitation-drive-conducted-in-phek\/"},"modified":"2018-11-10T11:46:53","modified_gmt":"2018-11-10T11:46:53","slug":"sanitation-drive-conducted-in-phek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/11\/10\/sanitation-drive-conducted-in-phek\/","title":{"rendered":"Sanitation drive conducted in Phek"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Phek Town Chakhesang Student Union (PTCSU) along with Forest department Phek, led by Vechihu Khamo, president PTCSU, conducted its 7th phase Sanitation Drive-&amp;-Declaration of Litter Free Zone at Clock Tower, Phek town on November 10.<\/p>\n<p>A press release by PTCSU stated that on the occasion ADC Phek, Avelu Ruho, speaking as the guest speaker, applauded the PTCSU for its endeavour to keep Phek town clean and green. She also spoke on the do&rsquo;s and don&rsquo;ts of social work drives. She urged PTCSU to participate in the cherry tree plantation activity next year. Avelu declared Royal Foundation School Phek (RFSP) as the first Litter Free Zone School in Phek town and awarded it the certificate of appreciation.<\/p>\n<p>R.A. Gothwal, officiating commandant 22nd Assam Rifles Phek, briefly encouraged the students and invited them to support the cleanliness initiative. Others who spoke included Suyiengoyi Soho, vice president of Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) and Darhu Luckson, headmaster of Royal Foundation School Phek.<\/p>\n<p>Around 850 students from Christian Mission Higher Secondary School and Royal Foundation School picked up plastics, wrappers and other junk from Clock Tower to the DC office junction.
