More organizations have offered their condolences on the demise of NSCN (I-M) vice-chairman, Gen (retd) Khole Konyak who passed away in New Delhi on December 12.<\/p>\n
NMA: Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) has expressed deep shock at the sudden demise of Gen. (Retd) Khole Konyak, vice chairman of the NSCN (I-M). NMA in a condolence message described late Khole as a humble man, with deep clarity on the Naga issue who had reiterated so often the need for Naga unity in interactions that the NMA held with him. NMA stated that he was a true Naga leader who had totally committed his whole life for the Naga nation and never wavered from his belief of freedom and liberty for the Naga people. NMA conveyed deepest condolences to his bereaved family, general secretary Th. Muivah and the rank and file of the NSCN (I-M) set up and prayed that Almighty God grant the departed soul eternal rest and peace. <\/p>\n
NNC (parent body): NNC (parent body) in a condolence message described late Khole as a tall Naga leader who had stood firm for Naga freedom of sovereignty. NNC (parent body) stated that late Khole always said that “he would like to see Naga unity and die but it is sad that this could not happen during his lifetime”. It conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to God Almighty to grant the departed soul rest in peace. <\/p>\n
PNH: Poumai Hoho Nagaland (PHN), the apex body of Poumais living in Nagaland, has expressed sadness at the demise of Gen. Rtd. Khole Konyak at this very crucial hour for the Nagas. The hoho described Konyak as a true patriot who sacrificed his whole life till his last breath for the cause of Naga political struggle. PHN stated that his contribution and service for the Naga nation would ever be remembered for generations to come. The hoho conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.<\/p>\n
KIN: Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) in a condolence message stated that late Khole had sacrificed his whole life for the Naga cause. KIN conveyed deepest sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
