She also added that the programme was the first of its kind in the country and that the training programme was modelled in such a way that it suited the unique culture and environment of Nagaland.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">She encouraged the trainees along with the officials to prayerfully start the training program and not to let this opportunity pass.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Nagaland tourist officer, Vede Koza, emphasized on the importance of being skilled and well trained in order to provide guests a \u201chome away from home experience\u201d. She talked about the importance of hygiene and encouraged the trainees to focus on local delicacies and local products in their area.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Vidile Sale, Kigwema Youth president, while delivering his speech motivated the trainees to not miss a single day of the training as this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He shared his dream of creating and transforming Kigwema Village into a Homestay village.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The inaugural programme was chaired by Neingusel Luho, YouthNet. The training program me will commence on June 4, where trainees training will compromise of both theory and practical classes and they will be taught about the usage of audio visual aids.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Topics on communication skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, customer service, food and beverage, hospitality, etc will be taken up during the programme.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An inauguration programme for the second batch of Homestay training, in partnership with NSDC under Special projects PMKVY, was inaugurated on June 1, at Kohima.
