MIP said reports of masquerading elements involved in forcible collection, ransom demand and holding captives for ransom payment were constantly relayed to GPRN authority. It said \u201cevidences and proof of impersonating late \u2018maj.\u2019 John was ascertained, use of NSCN letter pad and forcible collection of taxes in the name of NSCN were routinely reported to our base.\u201d MIP said victim\u2019s (Rasil Ali) father had personally come to speak to NSCN authority alleging that his son was abducted by NSCN (I-M) under \u2018maj. gen.\u2019 Raman.
