She added that there were certain works that require men alone and vice versa and said that what was required was not equal treatment but equitable treatment.<\/div>\nThe program was chaired by principal GHSS Pfutsero, Vechikhoyi Lohe. Keynote address was delivered by ADC Pfutsero, Zeneikhonuo Vimero and vote of thanks was pronounced by SDO Pfutsero, Dr. Diana Patton.<\/div>\n\nBBBP week observed in Kohima <\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nDIMAPUR: As part of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) Week and in commemoration of the National Girl Child Day 2019, State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW), Women Helpline – 181, Sakhi – One Stop Centre in collaboration with Nagaland State Social Welfare Board and the Directorate of Social Welfare visited the maternity ward of Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima on January 23 to felicitate girl children and mothers.<\/div>\nA press release by SRCW stated that SRCW officials were accompanied by joint director of SW, K. Atoli Sema; assistant director, Kezevio Kuotsu and HoD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Dr. Abei K. Angami, along with medical officers, CDPOs of Kohima, Jakhama, Chiephobozou and Tsemenyu and the staff of Women Helpline and Sakhi-One Stop Centre.<\/div>\nDuring the visit, the team presented gifts to both girl children and mothers and spread the message of the significance of a girl child.<\/div>\nSRCW stated that the visit was initiated to celebrate the birth of the girl child, encourage parents to bring up their child at par with boys and to spread awareness among people about the security and education of the girl child.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nOath taking & signature campaign in Sanis<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\nDIMAPUR: As part of the ongoing Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) week, an Awareness Rally, Oath Taking Ceremony and Signature Campaign was organized at Sanis town on January 22 jointly by district administration Sanis and the department of social welfare.<\/div>\nA press release from EAC Sanis, James Renbi kikon stated that St. Paul School Sanis principal, Rev. Fr. Jose Sebastian and youth director, Hajang Baptist Church, Emilo Kikon, were the resource persons for the program.<\/div>\nEarlier, a week-long BBBP celebration was launched on January 21 at the meeting of the Sanis Block Task Force for BBBP held at DB’s court Sanis. During the meeting, activities planned for the BBBP week were also released. <\/div>\nThe program was chaired by CDPO Sanis, Ralamo Jungi, and a key note address was delivered by ADC Sanis, Zubenthung Kithan.
