He also listed the various activities to be carried out during the fortnight.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">According to a press release, NHM Wokha media officer Mhonbeni Ezung stated that at the meeting, the steering committee members decided to implement various activities in the district during the intensified diarrhoea control fortnight.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The House also decided that ORS-Zinc corners will be set up at district hospital, CHC\u2019s, PHC\u2019s and sub-centers during the IDCF period.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">ORS preparation and Zinc dosage demonstrations will also be given during VHND by ASHA and ANMs.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">RBSK team will demonstrate hand washing as well as distribute ORS-Zinc during the IDCF Period in schools.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Children found suffering from diarrhoea will be given ORS and Zinc for 14 days.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Medical Officers of all Health Units were informed to keep watch and monitor diarrhoea cases and promptly treat patients and also to report them immediately.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A district level steering committee meeting for Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) was held on June 12, at DC\u2019s chambers under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon.
