Dr. Zavise Rume, SCERT and assistant professor Science College, Jotsoma, Veta Nienu, were the resource persons for the seminar.<\/p>\n<div>According to a press release by CABCC, Dr. Rume pointed out that innovative teaching is a must for effective teaching and learning. Teaching has no limit, so teachers should go beyond textbooks, classroom and become life changers, he stated.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He also said that teachers can teach with authority only after they master the subject. On his second topic, &lsquo;Motivational teaching&rsquo;, Dr. Rume insisted that teachers should show why education is needed, stating that needs and desires lead to true learning.<\/div>\n<div>Nienu spoke on the present education scenario, where he highlighted Singapore and Finland&rsquo;s educational system, two of the best in the world.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He stated that these two countries recruit the best citizens as teachers, and they are highly respected.
