Dr M.M. Thromwa Konyak of Indian Christian Secular Party also filed his nomination during the day.<\/div>\n<div>The two candidates filed their nomination at the commissioner&rsquo;s office here.<\/div>\n<div>Meanwhile, NPF has constituted a coordination committee within the party to explore possibilities for forging an alliance with likeminded parties. The committee is headed by Rajya Sabha member and party&rsquo;s secretary general, KG Kenye.<\/div>\n<div>When contacted, the opposition party informed Nagaland Post that it will make an announcement in a day or two in this regard.<\/div>\n<div>By-election: A total of three candidates filed their nomination papers for the by-election to 26 Aongleden A\/C in front of the returning officer Mokokchung. The candidates included Alem Jongshi (INC), O. Tinu Longkumer (NPP) and Toshipokba (NPF).<\/div>\n<div>As NDPP candidate Sharingain Longkumer had filed his nomination papers on Friday, the by-election will witness a four-cornered contest.
