It was organized in Collaboration with Integrated Development Society, Tuensang with the main objective to raise awareness among public on Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking. The program was moderated by Antimangyang, retainer lawyer, Tuensang DLSA.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Wokha: The Wokha DLSA commemorated the Day by organizing a Program at Mount Tiyi Government College in collaboration with The Nagaland Users Network (NUN) targeting the student masses. Principal of Mt.&nbsp; Tiyi Government College welcomed the participants of the program highlighting the significance of the day. Adv. Gracy Ezung, retainer lawyer of Wokha DLSA spoke on the meaning and essence of observing the day. Later, Zachamo Ovung, project officer, North East Technical Support unit Users (NETSU) gave a presentation on the aspects of Role &amp; Activities of Nagaland User Network.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Longleng: In Longleng, the International Day of Anti-Drugs and Illicit Trafficking was observed at the Longleng District Court Building. Mane Phom, retainer lawyer of Longleng DLSA gave a talk the implications of NDPSA Act 1983 and P. Monyei Phom, panel lawyer emphasis on \u201cIll Effect of Drugs\u201d. Later, Imlichuba Ohoma, para legal volunteer, spoke on the provisions of the Legal Services Authority Act 1987.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Dimapur: Dimapur DLSA observed International Day against Drug abuse &amp; Illicit trafficking by organizing a program at Bethesda Rehabilation Centre. The program was chaired by R. Longshithung Kithan, project manager and Dzuvinuo Chadi, panel lawyer who about the cornerstones of legal services institution.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Zuchumpeni spoke on NALSA Scheme called \u2018Legal Services to the victim of drug abuse&amp; eradication of drug\u2019.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Wonchibeni Patton,&nbsp; first class Judicial Magistrate &amp; chairperson of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB)&nbsp; spoke on the significance of celebrating the day stating that the&nbsp; drug abuse and alcoholic effect everyone in the society causing&nbsp; adverse&nbsp; negative impact within the social setup.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Mokokchung: In Mokokchung, a seminar on the theme \u201cLets develop our communities, our identities without drugs\u201d was jointly held by the Mokokchung DLSA, Police Deptt, ABAM, AKM, Christ church and MMA Venue at Penli Ward Community Hall.&nbsp; Bendnagwati Aier, P.D, CCC spoke on the significance and message of the day followed by a special number presented by Alcoholics Anonymous MTBA fellowship.
