Reacting to the statement of Kiumukam Yim led NNC\/GDRN (Non-Accord) information and publicity wing, denying reports of its dissolution, Kumcho, Chilimong and Hangping Zeliang has claimed that as “sole owners and the right claimers of the GDRN\/NNC(NA)”, they had merged en bloc with the NSCN\/GPRN “as government to government with clear conscience” on October 28, 2016.<\/p>\n
In a press note, GPRN (SEM) Hangping said that the leaders had “wilfully confederated” in the interest and desire of the Naga public. <\/p>\n
Hangping said the Naga public can judge between the one who upheld the government at its best, or the one who hid away from the national hoho, “after bringing the worst kind of disgrace to the government.” While reminding the other group to be sensible and not hypothetical, Hangping said the national hoho could be summoned even in the absence of the chairman or president, since the house could appoint a sessional chairperson to conduct the meeting.<\/p>\n
With regard to claims of an attempt on Kiumukam’s life, Hangping said since the group may be aware of those persons, they could do their own business and not accuse the then leaders who had no knowledge of the incident.<\/p>\n
It also reminded I&P wing not to get confused as it had merged en bloc with the NSCN\/GPRN and not defected. Hangping said if there was any doubt about merger and defection, they could check all the records from GHQ Hebron.<\/p>\n
It further asked the rival group to not confuse the public by using the information and publicity wing, which was used by V. Nagi as general secretary NNC (PB).<\/p>\n
Hangping therefore asked the rival group “not take the trouble to use other’s properties which are not yours anymore.”<\/p>\n
