{"id":195987,"date":"2019-06-22T12:16:36","date_gmt":"2019-06-22T12:16:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2019\/06\/22\/yaa-bans-fishing-and-hunting-in-its-jurisdiction\/"},"modified":"2019-06-22T12:16:36","modified_gmt":"2019-06-22T12:16:36","slug":"yaa-bans-fishing-and-hunting-in-its-jurisdiction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2019\/06\/22\/yaa-bans-fishing-and-hunting-in-its-jurisdiction\/","title":{"rendered":"YAA bans fishing and hunting in its jurisdiction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Yimchungr&uuml; Akher&uuml; Arihako (YAA) has informed that inspite of YAA standing resolution adopted during the 41st general session at its headquarter, Shamator which prohibits hunting, fishing, poaching and collection of medicinal plants\/herbs within its jurisdiction, it has been brought to the knowledge of YAA that some individuals were&nbsp; &nbsp;clandestinely engaged in the aforementioned &ldquo;illegal trade&rdquo; in the region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>In a press release, YAA deputy speaker, Nuheymong Bomrr and assembly secretary, Dohanba has reminded all concerned that YAA will enforce &ldquo;blanket ban&rdquo; in the entire Yimchungr&uuml;&rsquo;s jurisdiction. YAA has further endorsed all its constituent units to reinforce the resolution through proper monitoring and empower them to penalize defaulters within their respective jurisdiction as per the resolution.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>YAA stated that in the event of non-compliance of this order or failure to implement the said resolution by any of the constituent unit, the concerned unit and village council shall be held fully responsible.
