{"id":196282,"date":"2019-06-25T11:56:02","date_gmt":"2019-06-25T11:56:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2019\/06\/25\/dnsu-asks-dcci-to-revoke-two-resolutions\/"},"modified":"2019-06-25T11:56:02","modified_gmt":"2019-06-25T11:56:02","slug":"dnsu-asks-dcci-to-revoke-two-resolutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2019\/06\/25\/dnsu-asks-dcci-to-revoke-two-resolutions\/","title":{"rendered":"DNSU asks DCCI to revoke two resolutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>A day after All Nagaland College Students&rsquo; Union (ANCSU) slammed the resolution passed by the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) during its general meeting on June 22 last, the Dimapur Naga Students&rsquo; Union (DNSU) Tuesday demanded DCCI to immediately revoke resolution no. 2 and no. 4.<\/p>\n<div>In a press release, DNSU president Sedevilie Angami and general secretary B Mhajan Tsopoe cautioned that failure to revoke the two resolutions, the office of DNSU would be compelled to initiate its own course of action.<\/div>\n<div>The union said it strongly objected to the resolution no. 2 and no. 4 though all four points seemed &ldquo;questionable and controversial&rdquo; to the general public.<\/div>\n<div>DNSU asserted that &ldquo;seditious labeling&rdquo; of the phrase &lsquo;illegal collection&rsquo; to the NGOs and the student community in particular has &ldquo;irreparably tarnished&rdquo; the good image of the genuine NGOs and student bodies.<\/div>\n<div>DNSUT maintained that seeking financial assistance and contribution by student bodies from the well wishers including business community for genuine cause for students&rsquo; welfare cannot be termed as illegal collection.
