{"id":200388,"date":"2019-10-05T11:13:41","date_gmt":"2019-10-05T11:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2019\/10\/05\/dakshata-training-for-medical-staff-in-dimapur\/"},"modified":"2019-10-05T11:13:41","modified_gmt":"2019-10-05T11:13:41","slug":"dakshata-training-for-medical-staff-in-dimapur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2019\/10\/05\/dakshata-training-for-medical-staff-in-dimapur\/","title":{"rendered":"Dakshata training for medical staff in Dimapur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Dakshata trainings for medical staff under Dimapur district is being conducted in a phase-wise manner, wherein the first batch of Dakshata training for labour room and maternity OT staff nurses under District Hospital Dimapur was held from October 3 to 5 at the School of Nursing Dimapur.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>A press release from district media officer (NHM) Dimapur Kimnei stated that, training aims to reduce maternal and child mortality during childbirth and provide quality service during delivery.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Training was centred on causes of maternal &amp; neonatal mortality and ways to decrease it by using partograph, safe childbirth checklist and performing Active Management of Third Stage Labor (AMTSL) and New-Born Resuscitation (NBR). Mannequins and dummies were used to demonstrate normal delivery, essential newborn care and new-born resuscitation.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Resource persons were Dr. Yangrenthung Jamir, OB&amp;G, DH Tuensang, Dr. S. Kuotsutho, OB&amp;G, DH Dimapur, Vikhostono, nursing tutor, SON Dimapur and Vethipralu Lohe, DPM, quality assurance, Dimapur. Dr. Rebecca, DIO, RCH-UIP Dimapur was also present during the training as an observer.
