Tiyi College Boys Hostel Wokha respectively on March 15. NISHTHA is a national programme with the objective to improve the learning outcome of students at the elementary level in schools<\/div>\n<div>Kohima: Third phase of NISHTHA held for three days at Dr. Neilhouzh&uuml;i Kire Government Higher Secondary School, Seikhazou, Kohima concluded on Saturday.<\/div>\n<div>Speaking at the valedictory function, Emilo Patton, deputy director, School Education Nagaland said that school being a designated place to learn, &ldquo;we have to give the best possible education to our students in the right way at the right time and as the right place.&rdquo;<\/div>\n<div>She said the purpose of education was not only to impart knowledge but also to contribute towards holistic development of the students. Stating that each child was special, Patton said &ldquo;therefore, as school heads and teachers, it is our duty to motivate them and help them to learn in every possible way.&rdquo;&nbsp; Jenny Kath, Thepfulhou Theiinuo and Dr. Sukanya Paul shared feedbacks of the training programme. The valedictory function was chaired by Edward Aley, key resource person NISHTHA while vote of thanks was proposed by Peteneilhou Riipreo, project assistant DMA, Samagra Shiksha, Kohima.<\/div>\n<div>Resource persons of the training programme included Emilo Patton, deputy director School Education Nagaland, Sukanya Paul reader SCERT (Mathematics), Peleno Peteneilhou PGT (English), Yawao Konyak research asstt. SCERT (Science), Medohunuo training resource asstt (SCERT), Grace Yanthan PGT (Social Science), Dr. Pijano Mury principal D.N. Kire GHSS, Aneilie Nuh DIET lecturer (Education), Kenilo Semp senior DIET lecturer (Maths), Vikedono Sesa, reader, SCERT (Social Science), Kevileno DIET lecturer (English) and Edward Aley PGT (Science).<\/div>\n<div>Altogether, 450 teacher trainees attended this 3rd phase training, which commenced on March 10. Meanwhile, the 4th phase of NISHTHA training will start from March 16 to 20 at Dr. Neilhouzhii Kire GHSS Seikhazou, Kohima. Training programme was organized by district mission authority, Samagra Shiksha, Kohima. Shortlisted teachers are mandatory to attend the training with smart phone and email ID for pre and post tests during the training.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Wokha: Third phase of five-day training for elementary teachers of Wokha district on NISHTHA which started on March 10 concluded here at Mt. Tiyi College Boys Hostel, Wokha on Saturday.<\/div>\n<div>Addressing the teacher trainees, DEO Wokha R. Nzanbeni Lotha reminded teacher trainees should take pride in the fact that they were taking part in the largest teachers&rsquo; training programme of its kind in the world. DEO Wokha also urged them to put into practice what they had learnt during the five-day training programme. She further hoped that with the completion of the training programme, the teacher trainees would become more responsive to the social and psychological needs of students apart from ensuring the improvement in students&rsquo; learning outcomes and in creation of an enabling and enriching inclusive classroom environment for the betterment of all.<\/div>\n<div>Samagra Shiksha (SS) Wokha assistant district coordinator Pichamo Jungio enlightened the teacher trainees on the finer parts of the training programme while state resource person (SRP) Dr. Longshibemo Yanthan explained in detail what NISHTHA was all about.<\/div>\n<div>Feedbacks from teacher trainees were presented by N. Motsuthung Yanthan (EBRC Wokha), Benchumo Shitio (EBRC Sanis) and Abeni Ngullie (EBRC Bhandari); Zuchobemo Odyuo delivered a short speech on behalf of all teacher trainees of the third phase; and SS Wokha project assistant B. Nzano Humtsoe proposed vote of thanks at the valedictory function chaired by SS Wokha project assistant W. Renpomo Tsopoe.<\/div>\n<div>Altogether, 350 teachers from Wokha district were trained during the third phase of NISHTHA training. SRPs for the third phase NISHTHA training for Wokha district included Dr. Longshibemo Yanthan and Terence Yanthan, while key resource persons (KRPs) included Chumben Ovung and Amentoli (Education), Imkongkumzak Jamir and Thechano (Maths), Thungabeni Tungoe and Arhomo Humtsoe (Science), Kerivile Rhetso and T. Ezanthung Lotha (English), and K.
