In a press release, ANTA president Vibasetuo Solo warned that the taxi drivers, who were daily wagers, were being &ldquo;forced to go hungry&rdquo; with their families and were losing their hopes in the present government.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the drivers were losing both ways, ANTA said they were &ldquo;dying of hunger at home with the lockdown and fear of dying outside of the Virus.&rdquo; Reminding that the taxis had been cooperative in following government order, association said it had stopped all its members from operation till the lockdown was lifted.<\/p>\n<p>Further, ANTA has warned that government&rsquo;s failure to look into the genuine plight of its drivers would result in the association taking to the streets &ldquo;come what may&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that silence of the government has been &ldquo;deafening&rdquo; in these times of trouble and turmoil, the association has demanded that government act accordingly within three days &ldquo;to avoid any untoward incidents&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANTA serves 3-day ultimatum on govt<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-212340","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/212340","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=212340"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/212340\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=212340"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=212340"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=212340"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
