Following a writ petition filed by it in 2017 challenging backdoor appointments and regularisations, <\/div>\nACAUT said a single-judge bench of Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench had on August 3, 2018, directed the State government not to appoint and regularise services of employees who had completed three years of continuous service on contract\/ad-hoc basis. <\/div>\nAfter this judgement, the government filed an appeal, which was rejected by the court and the earlier judgement was upheld.
