If not, then the team of doctors and nurses “should resign en masse” as they no longer matter anymore, said JD(U).

JD (U) State unit also offered to shoulder financial responsibility of taking up the cause of the quarantined people in the court of law, if they consented as the absurdity of clause 3 must be challenged either by the society or in the courtroom so that this does not set a precedence.

The party demanded that justice must be delivered to the affected victims and they must be duly compensated for the mental, physical and material damage already caused and expected to cause as a result of the imposition of clause 3.

JD (U) asked whether clause 3 was actually meant to fulfil the State government’s claim that Nagaland had the strictest rules of lockdown in the country.

Appreciating the wisdom and discerning action of civil society organisations (CSOs) of Dimapur, the party declared support to the resolutions adopted at the meeting between the Empowered Group for Dimapur District and CSOs of Dimapur held at Hotel Saramati here on June 12. The government of the day must understand that the power given by the people should be exercised for the convenience of the people and not for causing them hardship and miseries.

[679

post-214401","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news
["GET
